- Ad space on a public Los Angeles board. Your listing publishes as soon as the payment clears and stays published. Think of it as a billboard the businesses in town share, where the amount you pay decides how near the top you sit.
- No editorial picks, no algorithm, no relevance scoring. The board sorts by amount, highest first. That is the entire ranking system.
- Whole dollars, $5 minimum, $1 at a time. Bidding under the top price still puts you on the board, at whatever place your amount takes.
- You pick a category when you list. It does not change your price or your position, and there is one ranking, not nine. What it adds is a second thing to be first at: the top spot in a category costs far less than the top spot overall, because you only have to clear the businesses like yours. Categories appear on a board once it has enough listings to be worth filtering.
- Equal amounts keep the order they arrived in. The earlier listing stays higher, so matching somebody does not pass them.
- Enter the same link again with a higher number and you pay only the difference. A listing holding $5 that wants to reach $200 pays $200 minus $5. Nobody else can take that spot for the difference, because their own listing starts at zero.
- 5 times the current top amount pins your listing above the whole board for 3 hours, with a banner naming you and a countdown. Nobody is hidden while it runs, so every other listing keeps its position and its clicks. One takeover runs at a time. It sits on top of your bid rather than replacing it, so your normal position is unchanged when the window ends.
- A business website or an X handle. Chat and invite links are rejected, so no Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger or Signal. The board is for businesses and profiles, not group chats.
- Query strings are stripped from every listing. Affiliate, referral and tracking URLs will not survive it. The cleaned link is also the key, so the same page is one listing however you paste it.
- Adult content, gambling, regulated substances, malware, phishing, anything illegal, and anything impersonating another business. Removal comes with a refund of what you paid.
- Full refund within 7 days, for any reason, by emailing support@outbidthemarket.com. After that, refunds cover listings that failed to publish or that we removed. A refund takes that amount back off the board.
- Every outbound link is marked nofollow and sponsored, and clicks are counted and shown on your listing. Buying a spot here does not move you in Google, and anyone telling you it does is selling something.
- Payments run through PayPal, so the charge shows as PayPal with OutbidtheMarket named on the receipt. If you do not recognise one, email us before your bank. We refund a genuine mistake the same day.
